A note about mineral oil-
Mineral oil is a petroleum-based product that is not absorbed by the skin, rather creates a barrier on the surface. It does not allow the skin to “breathe” and it has no nutritional value to the skin as it contains no vitamins. It is not advisable to use mineral oil for baby massage.
